PCI and Stratacomm Team Awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement by U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration

WASHINGTON, DC (June 25, 2014) – Two leading communications agencies have partnered to win a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Outreach, Education, and Communications Support Services for the Office of Education and Outreach and Office of Communications of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). FMCSA’s mission is to reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities involving Commercial Motor Vehicle transportation through education, innovation, regulation, enforcement, financial assistance, partnerships, and full accountability.

PCI, based in Alexandria, VA, will serve as the team lead. PCI will contribute its expertise in marketing and creative production to FMCSA’s safety-first mission, providing communications strategy, branding, marketing, video production, event support, design, and digital capabilities to the two FMCSA Offices. PCI has served government agencies, associations, and commercial concerns in the transportation, safety, and fuel arenas, and will bring this experience to bear on FMCSA’s outreach and educational initiatives.

Stratacomm, headquartered in Washington, DC, will support PCI as a team member. The strategic communications consultancy has deep roots in highway safety, commercial motor vehicles, advanced vehicle technologies, automotive, and transportation infrastructure. Stratacomm will apply its expertise in strategic planning, editorial support, media relations, digital and social media programs, coalition and partnership building, grassroots outreach, opinion research and analysis, and evaluation tools and metrics to the success of FMCSA communications efforts.
