The future is now: tour PCI’s new offices in virtual reality.

PCI has now entered the world of virtual reality! This fall we teamed up with production house Clean Cuts & Cerebral Lounge to give you a chance to take a virtual tour of our new offices in Old Town, Alexandria.

Download the YouTube app for Android and iOS devices and visit YouTube to view. Make sure to update to the latest version of Chrome, Opera, Firefox or Internet Explorer, or you can watch with Google Cardboard for the full 360° effect.

Narrated by Frances Reimers, PCI’s Director of Corporate Visibility, the video will guide you through the entire PCI experience, department by department, highlighting our capabilities and culture.

“We're always looking for new ways to move audiences to action,” said President & CEO Robert W. Sprague. “We were looking for an application to try this new technology, and we thought it was perfect to give our clients and friends a tour of our new offices."

Using a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, you can now put yourself in the center of the action by moving your screen in 360 degrees (left, right, up, or down). On laptop and desktop, you’ll simply use a mouse to click and drag around the video. Adding an inexpensive VR viewer such as Google Cardboard or Gear VR head-mounted display will give you an even more immersive VR experience.

“More and more of our clients are expressing interest in virtual reality and 360 degree video, so we decided to be our own guinea pig” said Mike Kim, Director of Production at PCI and the Creative Director of the video. “The result is a piece that is entertaining, full of personality, and demonstrates real possibilities to our clients.”
