This year’s theme, “The Best of Next for Generation Next,” was an apt description of the experience MCAA provided for its student chapter members. The event, which took place at the Westin in downtown Cleveland, provided them with a “technology test-drive” of technologies that may be used in their future careers. From augmented reality and 3D scanning and printing to Building Information Modeling (BIM) and drone use for site surveys, attendees previewed innovations that are transforming the industry. Students were also able to network with industry professionals and test their problem-solving skills through an on-site competition.
