PCI Names Josh Golden Creative Director "March 8, 2017

New Creative Director Josh Golden will provide clients with creative excellence across the media spectrum.

PCI has promoted Josh Golden to the position of Creative Director. Josh is a nine-year veteran of the agency, and has served as account executive, writer, producer and liaison to some of PCI’s most valuable clients. In his new role — the first time PCI in its 31-year history has had a single Creative Director — he will oversee creative output that spans the paid, earned, shared and owned media spectrum.

“PCI is able to offer its clients the services of an outstanding creative team,” Josh commented. “Our growth over the past couple of years and our opportunities to leverage our creative strengths in both traditional and emerging media led to a group decision that a single source of creative direction would lead to even greater client success. I am very honored to be the one chosen to take on that responsibility.”

Josh brings multiple skills to the new post. Clients know him for his inventive concepts, inspired wordplay, and subtle sense of humor in the development of marketing creative and copy. He is frequently called upon to direct live events and video, and serves as PCI’s primary presentation coach and stage manager. His client relationship skills have helped to make the Washington Nationals, American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) long-term PCI clients.

Before joining PCI, Josh directed creative for two major league baseball teams, the New York Mets and the Washington Nationals, where his legacy lives on in four larger-than-life racing presidents. Josh began his career coordinating workshops and script development for the Manhattan Theater Club. He wrote and directed “Voices of History,” a touring, interactive, living history program, and “Mets Zone,” a weekly children’s cable television show, and served as head writer for U.S. Open Tennis.

Josh is a graduate of the University at Albany and holds a Masters of Fine Arts from Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts.

“I can’t imagine anybody better qualified to lead our creative than Josh,” said PCI President and CEO Robert W. Sprague. “Our clients demand and deserve truly outstanding creative product, and as Creative Director, Josh’s stewardship will help us deliver it.”

Excited for Josh? We are too! Send him your congrats on LinkedIn.
