PCI Joins Bethany House to Shine Light on Domestic Violence

Alexandria, VA – PCI, a leading marketing agency, selected Bethany House of Northern Virginia as its pro bono client for 2015. PCI is providing the non-profit community organization with a strategic communications plan, social media support, and key outreach materials for partners and donors to support the renovation and expansion of its housing facilities.

Bethany House was established to help women and children who have experienced the impacts of domestic violence regain health and dignity and become re-established in their communities. Since 1979, Bethany House has provided safe, confidential shelter – along with case management, counseling, home and job skills training, and other services – to help those affected by domestic violence thrive. In Fairfax County, 33% of family homelessness is due to domestic violence.

The non-profit’s 4th Annual Garden of Light event will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Virginia. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon of food, live music by guitarist David Toves, and a silent auction featuring items donated by area businesses. The event will shine light on domestic violence, educating attendees on how to support Bethany House and its work in transforming lives.

All proceeds will benefit the Bethany House Family Assistance Program to support women and children affected by domestic violence. You can purchase tickets to the 4th Annual Garden of Light event here.
