PCI Senior Vice President Edith Bullard Joins Carpenter’s Shelter Board
Alexandria, VA – PCI Senior Vice President Edith Bullard has been selected to join the Board of Directors of Alexandria-based not-for-profit, Carpenter’s Shelter. Under a three year term, Bullard will provide strategic marketing and communications guidance to help Carpenter’s Shelter transform the lives of homeless individuals and families in Alexandria.
“I’m excited to be joining the Board of the Carpenter’s Shelter and helping them meet their mission of ending homelessness, not just providing shelter, said Bullard. “It’s an organization that makes a tangible difference everyday and I look forward to helping them achieve just that.”
With 30 years of marketing and communications expertise, Bullard has overseen award winning marketing efforts for commercial, government and not-for-profit clients including Crystal Run Healthcare, the United States Coast Guard and the National Waste and Recycling Association. Previously, as a Marketing Director at Fannie Mae, Bullard led business-to-business marketing and communications efforts for the rollout of 20 to 25 products per year, managed a $10-$15 million national trade advertising budget and produced annual Sale and Marketing Conferences for over 1,200 attendees.
Carpenter’s Shelter’s comprehensive continuum of care offers continuous services, aiding the chronically homeless and shelter residents through their transition back into independent living. Carpenter’s Shelter empowers over 1,000 homeless and formerly homeless individuals and families each year to address the issues which led them to homelessness, and provide the tools necessary to achieve lasting independence.
