PCI’s Director of Corporate Visibility Frances Reimers has been selected to be among the inaugural class of Alexandria’s Chamber of Commerce “40 Under 40” awards. This new program recognizes the significant personal impact of young professionals in a variety of fields who have has a substantial commitment and interest in the advancement of the Alexandria region.
For the past six years Frances has lead business and client development for PCI, managing more than $2M in annual revenue. Through her content marketing and digital strategy efforts, she has tripled the agency’s website traffic, while also overseeing projects for many clients such as the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, Washington Nationals, and the Department of Transportation.
Frances originated and administers PCI’s pro bono initiative, under which PCI provides a year’s worth of in-kind marketing services to not-for-profit organizations including The Child & Family Network Centers, the Campagna Center, the Carpenters Shelter, Marine Corps Marathon, and Ocean Conservancy. Frances also administers PCI’s summer intern program. Outside of work she donates her time to mentoring high school and college students through Urban Alliance and Georgetown’s TFAS program.
Frances is also a popular speaker for organizations across the country, including Virginia Tech’s Department of Communications where she guest lectures. She currently serves on the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind and National Foundation to End Senior Hunger (NFESH) Advisory Boards, has contributed to an article in the March 2014 edition of O Magazine as part of their #JustSayHello campaign, and was featured on CNN’s Live with Piers Morgan.
Frances and her fellow recipients will be presented their awards at an event on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 6:30 pm-9:00 pm at United Way Worldwide in Alexandria, VA.
